It is one of the slimmest slide phones on the market and it feels great to hold. The LG Secret comes with a 5-megapixel camera that takes good quality pictures and video and records in slow motion as well. An alphanumeric keypad is fitted with a vibration feedback device so you know when you have done something.

The Secret comes complete with an audio-video player and FM radio tuner but unfortunately doesn’t have a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Connectivity is not bad either, supporting USB and Bluetooth, but not Wi-Fi or GPS. The internal memory is 100MB and further storage capacity can be gained from the microSD card slot.

Where the camera disappoints is in its lack of Xenon flash facility, which makes taking photos in poor light questionable. The touch-screen function is also somewhat temperamental and only works in certain modes.

Still, it is a great looking phone, especially if you just want a basic model with a little extra. There are also a number of good contract mobile phone deals on for the LG Secret that should make it a good choice for people who just want to keep in touch.

The C905 is about more than just a load of megapixels; there are several neat photo features.  There’s an LED light and powerful Xenon flash to help users take great shots in low lighting.  The phone also has face detection, instant red eye reduction, and image stabilisation systems that are usually found only on digital cameras.  There’s also the proprietary BestPic system and a macro mode.  HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity makes uploading to the internet quick and easy.

Cons
Due to the high resolution of pictures taken with the C905, file size is on the high end as well.  This cuts down on the phone’s battery life, and it’s significantly shorter than most other new mobile phones.  Users who employ the camera feature frequently will find they need to recharge the phone often.  Still, when one considers the excellent quality photos the phone takes, the trade-off is tolerable.

Conclusion
Users who compare mobile phones for camera capabilities are sure to be delighted with the C905.  With one of the most powerful cameras and some of the best picture quality available in a mobile handset, the C905 is miles beyond the competition despite its rather disappointing battery life.

The phone has a camera which offers some editing functions and extras which make using it enjoyable.  The phone also has HSDPA which allows quick uploading of photographs to the computer or internet.  There are video functions on the camera too which allow recording and playing.  The screen offers sharp, clear and bright images. 

Google Maps is pre-installed and the phone has a GPS function.  An application called ‘NearMe’ allows quick tracing of nearby restaurants, cinemas and other businesses, though there is no Wi-Fi internet connection.  Music can be stored on the phone but there is no headphone jack or adaptor so the in-ear headphones are the only option. 

The C903 is the ideal handset for those who like a small phone which can take good photographs, but may not be the best option for internet access and emailing due to the small keypad and lack of Wi-Fi.  When using the video and camera functions the battery life is not as long lasting as it might be but otherwise this is a good phone for those who do not need too much in the way of applications. 

One of the best features of the handset is the eight megapixel camera.  It is substantially better than that included with other LG mobile phones and the phone has a ‘smile detection’ function which will take the photograph when the subject smiles.  Photo quality is excellent and the camera can be used to take good quality video footage. Some users may find that the flash is not adequate for very dark scenes.

Watching videos is also easy as the phone supports a number of file types, though some resolutions may not be compatible with the phone.  The handset also has a good music player though the phone does not have the 3.5mm headphone jack that is featured on some other LG models; it is, however, equipped with Dolby mobile sound technology.
 
Users can connect with the internet using Wi-Fi or HSDPA and the phone has a GPS navigation feature to benefit users.  Memory function is also considerably better than other models with an 8GB memory card.  Sending texts and emails is easy with the onscreen QWERTY keyboard and the text function is aided with predictive text. 

The maximum battery life is shorter than other LG handsets, just 264 hours, but this is acceptable when you consider the number of functions and applications this is supporting.
