Read a Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S review to discover just what it can do. The phone has been promoted as having an uber-stylish design; however, many reviewers report that it is practically the same as its Ericsson cousins on the outside. However, this mobile’s vital selling points are the specs and what is can do inside. Is the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S blazingly fast? It is worth checking out the information below and browsing the latest online mobile phone news and reviews before you shell out your hard earned cash.

The Xperia range allows for vibrantly rich photos, even in the dark, thanks to a powerful 8.1 megapixels camera and Exmore R backlit sensor. Compared to the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and its five-megapixels it certainly could be a contender, with the added ability to capture sweeping panoramas.

Sony Ericsson boasts users can download and play with ease, utilising a 1.4Ghz turbo processor. Today, video streaming and surfing the internet are equally as important as any other feature. Always check what deals are available to ensure you can browse the internet without receiving a shockingly expensive bill at the end of the month.

The Xperia Arc S currently comes with Google’s Android Gingerbread 2.3.4 installed and there are a number of useful apps, such as Sony Ericsson’s Facebook layer app, a screen grab function and a time-saver app. Find out if the new functions and apps that are planned will be able to take advantage of the upgrades by logging on to the Recambu website.

The Sony Ericsson Arc is an excellent and super stylish smartphone, one of the new generation of Sony Ericsson mobile phones which aims to keep up with the latest smartphones on the block. Visually brilliant, this Android touch phone is packed with a raft of gadgets, apps and user-friendly features. This is definitely a contender for Sony Ericsson’s best mobile phone ever and is up there with the best of Android smartphones. In addition, there are plenty of great Sony Ericsson Arc deals on the market.

Ultra slim and lightweight, The Sony Ericsson Arc runs on Android 2.3 (with an option to upgrade to 3.0), this is an elegant and sophisticated handset with a fabulous 4.2 inch touch screen, that supports a brilliant sixteen million colour display of exceptional quality and resolution that works well even in bright sunlight, plus it benefits from Sony BRAVIA TV technology.

This phone is supremely easy to use, with seamless integration of social networking tools such as Facebook, Twitter and email, and there are a multitude of apps to choose from, including Android sat nav apps such as GPS and Google Maps and Google Street View, as well as up to 100,000 to download.

The Sony Ericsson Arc scores highly for its connectivity, with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB, and it offers brilliantly quick 3G data access. It also boasts an 8.1 megapixel camera which is as good as most on the market. A decent battery means there are approximately 7 hours of talk time, plus a bonus noise shield feature which cancels out annoying background noise.

Sony Ericsson mobile phones were first seen in 2001, after the merger between technological experts Sony and communications giants Ericsson. Prior to the merger both companies produced their own mobile phones, although they have since traded under the name of Sony Ericsson.

In the past, Sony Ericsson models have been known for their style, reliability and high-quality cameras. However, since the arrival of Apple’s iPhone, the company has struggled and is now only the sixth-largest smartphone manufacturer in the world, behind Apple, Nokia, Samsung, LG and Research In Motion. Sony Ericsson’s inability to outsmart its rivals has meant that shipments of handsets have fallen from 30.8 million in 2007 to just 8.1 million in early 2011, with many experts fearing for the fate of the company.

Sony Ericsson has recently launched its Xperia range, which it hopes will reverse its recent trend of operating losses. Furthermore, Sony’s BRAVIA TV technology has been introduced to several models, including the Arc, in order to try and rival AMOLED technology. The reviews of the BRAVIA technology have been largely warm, with many critics claiming that BRAVIA-equipped smartphones produce screen resolution of a much higher quality than many competitors.

Sony Ericsson is currently the official sponsor of the UEFA Champions League as well as the Sony Ericsson Open tennis tournament. Stephen Croix, head of global marketing for the company, claims that it will enliven fans experience before, during and after the game.

When you look at the Sony Ericsson Arc, it is easy to see the inspiration for the phone. When the Sony Ericsson X10 was launched in 2010, reviews were mixed. Some found it to be too slow and cumbersome to be considered a high-end smartphone and Sony Ericsson listened to this feedback. The Arc is basically the revamped version of the X10 and it has been widely lauded as not only the best Sony Ericsson phone ever, but possibly the best smartphone yet.

The Sony Ericsson Arc is amazingly thin given the power inside the phone. Measuring just 8.7mm at its thinnest point, this phone is by far the skinniest around. Out of the box, the Arc comes with Android’s latest 2.3 operating system and boasts a stunning 8.1-megapixel rear-facing camera that ensures the Arc is capable of taking photos and video which leave many other manufacturers behind. HD video recording is available on the Arc at 720p resolution. While the quality is not quite as high as the LG Optimus 2X, Sony Ericsson has fitted the Arc with Sony’s BRAVIA TV technology to enable faultless video playback through HDMI connectivity.

Internal memory, however, is a problem for the Arc, with a mere 320MB of onboard memory. A MicroSD™ slot enables a possible 32GB of extra room, although with many Android apps not supporting SD movement, this could prove a problem for consumers.

There is no doubting that the Sony Ericsson Arc is a beautiful device and its size means it puts many other competitors to shame. The processing capabilities and huge 1500mAh battery also means it will not disappoint.

Sony may be best known for video game consoles and televisions, but they also are in the mobile device business.

Sony Ericsson mobile phones come in many varieties to suit a range of consumers. The Xperia line of phones includes many of Sony Ericsson’s newest models. The Xperia PLAY harks back to Sony’s gaming and entertainment roots. Users of this mobile phone can experience video gaming that is surprisingly similar to playing on a home console. The stereo sound and gaming keys configuration are also very similar to console gaming.

Sony Ericcson also has phones that are purely phones. The Xperia neo is an Android smartphone that excels at capturing photographs and videos. The built-in HDMI allows for excellent image quality. The Xperia X10 also focuses on visuals. It is a slimmer, lighter phone, but still has amazing image quality.

Sony Ericsson also offers two Vivaz phones, the standard version and the Pro version. The standard version can capture 720p HD video and auto focus. It also has a good sized touch screen built in. The Pro has all of these features, but improves on the standard Vivaz by additionally including a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

There are also some flashy luxury phones in the line up. The Jalou by Dolce and Gabbana is not a phone for the average consumer. It is 73mm long and features a one-of-a-kind, facet-cut design. The thing that really makes it stand out is the 24-carat gold plating and rose colouration.

Thought by some to be one of the best Sony Ericsson mobile phones ever produced, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc not only looks great but is packed full of features and functions, making it one of the most popular phones available today. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc comes with the latest version of Android 2.3. The screen consists of a large 4.2 inch touchscreen that boasts Sony’s Bravia TV technology.

Sony Ericsson has been industry leaders for many years, probably because their handsets are reliable, are of good quality and offer excellent value for the money. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc keeps up that tradition by being packed full of all the features you might expect from a modern phone, only better.

The handset includes a camera which boasts a massive 8.1 megapixel resolution. The camera includes a digital zoom, touch autofocus, face recognition, red eye reduction, smile detection, image stabiliser and an LED flash. Many of these features are not usually found on a mobile phone camera but Sony manages to incorporate all these features without compromising on features elsewhere.

Other features and functions of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc include an FM radio and media player for easy playback of your favourite tunes while on the go. GPS navigation is available with Google Maps and as the handset is quad band, the phone can be used on several different frequencies and is therefore ideal when travelling.

If you are considering Sony Ericsson mobile phones then the Cedar may be for you. This is one of the newer mobile phones in the GreenHeart range of eco-friendly handsets. This particular handset is compact and sits neatly in the hand. The shape of the phone makes it ideal for quick texting, and the main menu layout means that it is easy to get used to.

This range of Sony Ericsson mobile phones takes its ‘green’ image very seriously. The screen is fairly small, at 2.2 inches, but this can help to save battery life. If you unplug the charger from the phone, you are reminded to take the charger out of the electric socket. There are few paper manuals that come with the phone; all instructions are stored on the phone itself. You simply get a few short instructions on paper that shows you how to access this information.

This particular model does not have a powerful camera, but it is still a reasonable camera with a wide range of settings to choose from. There is also a 3.5mm headphone slot and you can use a micro USB for charging. The phone has an easy to use media player that can have a memory of up to 16 GB, if you make use of a microSD card. Setting your playlists is easy, or you can also switch over to the FM radio. Internet access is available via a 3G connection, and you can access Facebook and Twitter through the apps on the phone.

Mobile phone reviews are important – if you read them carefully, you can learn everything that you need to know about a handset. Mobile phone reviews are designed to take the hard work out of finding a new handset. Reviews for the Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro have been good and there are many features of the phones that will appeal to smartphone users.

The phone is one of the smallest on the market and has a very solid feel to it. The design of the phone means that it feels as though it has been put together for the luxury end of the market and it does not feel like a cheap phone at all.

The touchscreen is very small but this does not make it any less usable. It is very responsive and the Android operating system has been adapted to work on the small screen size. There is a slide out QWERTY keypad that is not as cramped as you might think.

There is a good media section on the phone. Despite the small size, the camera offers a very respectable 5-megapixels and there is an LED light for taking shots in poor lighting. A proper button for taking images has been added to the phone and this can be used to start the camera and focus as well as shoot the image. Music lovers will appreciate the 3.5mm headphone jack so that they can use their own headphones and adding music is easy with the software already installed on the handset.

Sony Ericson is one of the world’s leading cell phone manufacturers. This is because the company was formed from the merger of two powerhouses: Sony, which is known worldwide for its innovations in technology; and Ericsson. Together these companies made mobile phone news by entering into the billion-dollar mobile phone market.

The mobile phones that Sony Ericson has manufactured are very different from being cheap mobile phones. Whenever you compare mobile phones, you will see that this company’s new mobile phones are quite well known for their amazing music and photography capabilities. This is especially true of the P-series, Walkman and Cybershot series.

The Sony Ericson mobile phones also have immense buyer utility. You can easily find phones available at a reasonable price and with features that put other phones within this same price range to shame. One of its biggest and best phones is the P800. This is actually a smart phone with a touch screen and a QWERTY keyboard that people readily and willingly accepted. With the P800 cell phone, Sony Ericsson established its presence on the market.

After rolling out the P800 phones, Sony Ericson went on to develop the Walkman (orange phones with a “W” button that opened up their multimedia functions) and Cybershot (phones that were meant to enhance the photo capturing experience) series of phones. Both phones were meant to be affordable for everyone. While these are examples of inexpensive phones, Sony Ericson provides you with a lot of value for your money.
